Have you tried…that time honored tradition of standing in the fire?
It’s amazing this happens, not 21 people dead, but at least half a dozen. I made a post about it because it’s just damn annoying players joining up to random queues with their entire intention being to die as fast as possible to be carried, but apparently it’s just a me thing, gotta love GD.

Yep, this. Takes a few seconds for the game to detect that “you are not in this group’s instance”, and then another 60 seconds for it to teleport you out.
No need to rack up repair bills just from trying to get out of an old raid.
Necro I know, but none of this works in combat. Trying to die to reset the boss. I’m naked and down to 140 health (Burning Rush), but the mobs can’t hurt at all in Firelands. I force quit the game, going to give it a few minutes, then I may try the campfire trick (you can’t create one of those in combat either, but they last a little while, so it may work).
Trying to do the Legendary staff quest.
