How to join a covenant at 80?

I want to unlock some xmog that is not account-wide because apparently I need to join a shadowlands covenant on an alt, no biggie, I knew what to do, I went to Stormwind and were presented the quest and a dialog option to skip the intro.

It then teleported me to Oribos and… nothing. There is no NPC, no quest, nothing at all.

I did some research and I know the threads of fate choice has been removed, and all I could find is “switch to Shadowlands Chromie time” which you can’t do at max level. Apparently you can’t skip anymore, but I had the dialog option to do so, and all the quests have been flagged as done… there is just nothing happening in Orbibos and the city is locked I can’t fly.

Anyone has a clue of what to do? I actually see Greymane and he can give a quest that seems to be the intro to BFA in Oribos.

I even tried to use the portal to Bastion directly in Dornogal, and I went where you spawn… Kaelia does her RP but no quest.

Thats weird, i did this not long ago, during the PrePatch, and it worked just fine.

So they removed it for no apparent reason or its straight up just bugged.

Regarding that Genn quest (Eyes of the wolf) thats to unlock the Dark Ranger cosmetic for elves, the one you have.

When you do the quest where it asks you to visit 4 areas, see if there’s a chat bubble behind the inn, it will show up on the minimap as well. If you do see it, go straight to it and you can still choose Threads of Fate.

If you get to this part, there is still a chance to get Threads of Fate, it doesn’t always pop up but its in the back area behind the Innkeeper.

Looks like people are opening tickets because that quest is nowhere to be found.

I also noticed the usual guards being on the defensive when you arrive, which is meant to happen when first arriving, so yeah, no clue whats happening there

One of the comments says Blizz confirmed the quest is broken, so yeah, gotta wait until its fixed.

You should see what they did to the beachhead and circle of life Tortollan WQs… the crabs are now 5th dimensional and now move in directions they absolutely shouldn’t and I’m pretty sure the seagulls are invisible.
