I have already filled my ignore list with boosters spamming LFG but I can’t add anymore. Is there an addon or filter or something I can use?

Just report them for spam.
It ignores them for you without using one of your ignore slots and you don’t have to deal with another addon.

I’ve taken to reporting CERTAIN CLASSES, regardless of human or bot control, as bots. Same principle here, but report as spam.

It’s not the same principle at all.
My suggestion is to report spammers for spamming. Your suggestion is just ugly profiling and an abuse of the reporting system.

If I ignored someone in LFG but then end up in a group with them will I be able to see their chat in regular group chat? I been wondering that since my list got full.

I’m pretty sure you won’t see anything from them, but it’s been a long time since I’ve thought of that, so don’t make any important decisions based on that.

Does anyone know if this ignore side effect of spam reporting will last after logging out and back in again?
Thanks, will try it out if the reporting for spam / auto-ignore doesn’t work across characters or across logins.
I want to use this addon but can’t seem to grasp how to make it function the way it’s being advertised.
I need somebody to hold my hand through it 'cause YT and Google are extremely unhelpful.
Well, it appears that you bring up the ‘Social’ popup window and select the ‘Ignore’ tab under ‘Friends’. This action brings up an additional window which shows your Ignore LIst, Spam Filters and Options. There are already some filters created to give you an idea how they work if you want to create more. Also you can do some command line actions by typing /gi in chat, for example, /gi list will list all the people you currently have on global ignore. It has a NOTE in chat help that you use /ignore and the Social/Ignore UI as usual to add/remove players. Hope this helps.
It doesn’t because I still don’t have the ability to edit what kind of options I want to edit in. It just gives me a blank window, and I can’t do anything. So, IDK how I can “edit” any Spam Filter, of my own taste.
Clicking all three tabs gives me this blank sheet.

Only thing I can suggest is to re-download the addon and install. Some folks have an app that downloads and installs addons. I always download my own and move them to the Interface/Addons folder. Also, make sure you’ve downloaded the classic version of this addon as there is apparently one for retail as well. I can’t paste my image but the Ignore List Tab should have columns for Player Name, Server Name, Type, Listed, Expires, and Note.

Lower Forum Trust Level Members still can by placing the URL Links between the " ` " symbol. One before the URL link and another after.

[contains=wts] and [contains=mara]
then just change “wts” and “mara” to what ever keywords you want use all lower case and i just stick to one word because i also dont know how to make it work that well
