Take away thier tablets and tiktokk apps. Buy them pc’s not consoles.
Ban insta, x, fb, snap if they are on your wifi.
Help them level up questing.
Its a Long payout i know. Younger generations wont put in the time investment and build relationships through wow now though and go through the in game struggles that created memories.
Stopping the score loss would also help I think. If we don’t lose points when we fail M+, why do we have to lose points when we fail PVP? It would at least slightly increase participation in lower scores where players are just wanting to transmog.
If all social media platforms and tik tok and YouTube shorts and adult websites got thanos snapped out of existence the world would be a much better place.
Because PVP directly involves competing against and comparing yourself to the rest of the ladder.
You’d have situations where people just play 10,000 games to functionally guarantee gladiator/R1 and it would become a participation test more than an actual skill-based one.
200 game minimum, points based on w/l percentage. You can’t ‘unearn’ points but someone who goes 7/10 is going to get a lot more points a lot faster than someone who goes say 4-5/10 avg. Same metrics for R1, .1% of leader board.
games boring. dead ladder because the game doesn’t have enough pull anymore. the season is either free, or seen as ‘too hard why bother’. there’s no in-between anymore because people don’t want to play wow to just play.
Yeah because all the old timers move on and have kids, or go to prison. You think the new players who are still learning what a macro is, or clicks their spells will replace the dudes who’ve been PvPing since TBC? Not anytime soon.
The classic versions of the game are probably hurting retail too.
