So what I am seeing on Kirtonos is horde camping from FP to dungeon. You start moving you res you die. You res you die. over and over. How can we fix this or at least mitigate it to a less grief like situation?
Options:
Give no honor on a recently ressed player(unless they enter PvP we already do this with FPs when you land this would be simple to enable.) horde will likely polymorph until they can get honor which is still no fun, but means at the very least they need to have a class to stop movement around.
Punish people for corpse camping give a negative honor gain if you kill someone that isn’t actively PvPing as soon as they spawn so they can at least get away or into the instance they are trying to join. Maybe like a 15 sec timer I mean we aren’t even at full mana and health.
Force balance by doing what so many have mentioned before me with keeping server pops (that are online) within 5 - 10% max deviation of each other.
Go back to layering and balance shards at that level.
Do nothing and see server pops swing even more out of balance as people leave / and join based on knowing they will have it easier.
I just rerolled on Westfall as the WPvP was getting out of hand with groups of 60s helping low levels farm HKs.
Eventually, each server will lean heavy one faction or the other. While I love PvP, I am taking a break and whenever server transfers open up I’ll move my toon to a non Ally dominated server.
It’s totally selfish and called working smarter not harder.
It was to be expected . We already saw this story happen once with PvP servers in retail. Why do you think Blizz put in WM ? PvP servers are mostly unsustainable with only 2 factions … you need 3 factions for the population to self correct .
