As far as I know there are only two ways to get to Outlands: 1) the Dark Portal in Blasted Lands; 2) the one hearthstone your toon has, and which has been set to a Inn in Outlands.
Am I missing some other way?
A portal to Shatt from a mage
A summoning stone near any Outland dungeon?
A summon from a warlock?

Adding a portal back to Shattrath from Orgrimmar would have made too much sense.

Maybe they should have given every class the Portal spell. Ability to create food, water and make healthstones too.

I kinda like how it’s set up. Yes it’s inconvenient for many but it’s more realistic to have Outland be more mysterious and it gives the Dark Portal a purpose…

Maybe they should take human female rogues out of the game, and gnomes also.
I guess my point is that when you look back on some of their decisions 14 years later it’s kind of obvious where they were trying to make us waste more time playing.
Create an AH alt and mail your stuff to him? That way you don’t need to worry about hearthstones.
Old School attunements are the classic equivalent to Covenant renown. Change my mind.

Meanwhile, in Retail: “There is no escaping THE MAW!” … except all the players being able to continuously portal back and forth infinitely.
This shouldn’t be Retail.
