How to get to Draenor?

I need to get to Shadowmoon Valley in Draenor, but I can’t find a way there.

Didn’t they add a portal to Ashran in the new room?

Alternatively, walking through the Dark Portal works again so long as you aren’t time-warped to the past.

I wonder if the portal is there if you haven’t done the entry quest. On the other hand, if you can fly there - you can also use the secret portal in Timeless Isle (If you don’t have flying though or a friend who can fly you it’s a long, long run).

God that entry quest… you can’t skip it because of the juicy experience+garrison. When i did it about a week sgo, the gunpowder part didn’t even leave trails where you walked. And that’s the best part :sob:

But you can skip it - I’ve skipped it for a long time now on new toons. I use the portal at Timeless Isle. It drops you at a matching portal in Gorogond and fly to where I pickup the garrison quest. I did it once before flying… that was a long trip.

You can also use the Ever-Shifting Mirror toy to travel from Outland to Draenor and back.

Oh i know you can, but then you miss out on the juicy xp.

I would consider not skipping it… but then I would have to save Yrel and I just can’t do that again (lol).

Take the secret passage in the under water cave on the timeless island in pandaria.

It is located off the shore of the frog area. Swim out and then down and you’ll see it. Sit in one of the chairs and click the fire.
