I know it doesn’t start until Monday, however I have not gone to the DMF since it was released in Classic. My main is an alliance and I am just curious, since it is in Mulgore this month, will there be a carnie in Stormwind selling ports to the faire? Or would I have to go on foot? Going on foot doesn’t bother me too much, just curious if there will be an easier/quicker way to get there.
There are no ports, you gotta hoof it. Take the boat to Theramore and head West through Dustwallow, the Barrens, and into Mulgore.

Nothing wrong with that! Can’t go out in real life so might as well enjoy a nice stroll in game! 
It’s only a couple minutes hike from Ratchett anyway.

You take the route with the scenic view. Don’t forget to marvel at the beautiful of nature and avoid wild beasts and animals. You should be OK.

I always take the scenic route, lol. It’s one of the things I love so much about this game- the artwork is just incredible. The designers truly do an amazing job on the graphics. One of my favorite things to do when I’m bored and just need a break from questing is to just fly around (BFA) or ride around on my horse (Classic), and take in the beautiful scenery
