I’ve done 3 time rifts, twice I used the item that guarantees a drop, but I still haven’t gotten any rewards. I participated in the lead in and the boss fight each time. Did I get screwed or is there something I have to do to get the rewards?

Yep same, last boss just insta TPs me out of the rift the second it dies and I get nothing… the only rewards i’m getting are the boxes from meeting the checkpoints during the event.
So basically don’t bother with the last boss unless you need the weekly.
I’m not damaging my armour for no reward! hmph *fluffs hair xD

If you’ve already done the weekly, you are likely boned.
Hopefully they fix the bug soon. If you have alts, don’t do them.
Did you talk to Soridormi at the start? The one I did without talking to her didn’t give me credit but the other where I did talk to her I got credit.

Does the last boss normally have any guaranteed reward at all? Anything to prove one did get credit?
It feels like it was rushed out before it was ready…

I just ran one about 45min ago, Ny’alotha flavor. Got a box with 120+ flakes, and the quest item from Soridormi for another 1000 flakes. Didn’t get “loot” but I do have the encapsulated destiny in my bags. Haven’t used it yet.
Sadly I’m far short of Thunderfin & Gill’dan.
Same thing happened to me, but don’t worry, Blizz is hard at work to get Mythic+ working, while ignoring bugs in the content they promoted for this patch.
We all ported in on the air ship, only half the group got to the other boat (too many people standing on the item, so we couldn’t get across). Boss dies right as I finally land. Didn’t get credit.

Just happened to me well…couldn’t find the rockets to port over fast enough with literally 30 mounts on top of it and did not get credit. How did this make it to live?
What I love is how the last boss is dead and many players are still trying to get to the last boss because the gear wheel won’t show up at all to jump you across to it.
Because Blizzard doesn’t learn from this happening after every time they do something like this and none of the people making the game actually play the game.

This is literally waste of time…
Not sure if the last boat is different for “time-based” fights but most of couldn’t make it to the last boss since we couldn’t click on the rocket to jump over and when we did, the last boss was dead and I have to wait for the next event to start.

yea i just did the deal where u go to a flying boat and there was a million ppl took a minute to see u needed an item to get to the other boat cause ppl where all standing on it. Then on other boat the boss was dead before 3/4 of ppl got there . So most of us didnt get any credit
I dont understand are we supposed to run this a bunch of times in hopes of getting credit ? Some ppl dont have a lot of time to play

Waste of time don’t bother. Blizz yet again screws up. Pissing me off making me not want to play. I just got off work and get on to this BS. Time rifts suck. The.final boss has like 20 seconds of health…… so only a few people complete while everyone else wasted their time.

The time rifts seem to be borked in several ways. The item that guarantees loot from the next boss doesn’t seem to work. Completing the weekly on your main will lock you out of doing the weekly on alts (at least for me). The lag (this one is expected though). and being forced to click tiny things in a sea of players in order to participate.
Really disappointing unfortunately.

Yep, the quest for the purple item with 1000 flakes inside is indeed flagged as Per Account Per Week, so one run invalidates the rest of your characters.
There’s an issue with getting ported out automatically as well, receiving nothing from the last boss.
Just another instance of WoW content not fing working on release. Just expect nothing to work properly on patch day and eventually it’ll get fixed, maybe. This company are a bunch of clowns.
