How to get tiger gear?

Good morning all. I came back after a 10 year break and as I did prior, am focusing on PVP. I did notice all the top rated players have tier gear. How would I go about getting it? I tried looking it up and it’s very confusing. Thanks in advance

You can take a conquest piece to the creation catalyst that will transform the piece of gear to tier that scales to 450 ilvl in pvp

Awesome and can I convert the blue honor pvp gear like that or it must be something else?

nah conquest only gear and no crafted gear can be converted

One last question… will I be able to modify the stats when I change it to tiered? Or if it’s boots from conquest or honor to make it with the applicable stat needed

No, stats are fixed on tier.

Understood so unfortunately it seems the only way to get BIS gear for some is to PVE?

There’s no need to do any pve.

Oh because for example there’s no mage boots with Vers/ haste so it’s not BIS

But I see some top gear mages have a different boots on not the obsidian gear

That’s where crafted gear comes in.

I see. Oh man so much has changed lol . Do you need a specific profession or anyone can do it with mats

No prof requirements, just list the public order and somebody will usually do it in like <10 minutes.

Make sure you use a trophy from the conquest vendor when you post a public order.

I saw a monk with tiger gear yesterday. I asked him how he got it but he didn’t say. Thought OP was referring to that and I was hopeful an answer would be found.
