Looks like one of many items added into WoW’s database that never made it to the live game.

You can’t. That hat is part of a set of pirate hats and outfits that were added in BfA beta. But for some reason none of them ever made it live. So they aren’t here.

What a poopy shame. Is there any obtainable cosmetic pirate transmog in the game? Or should I give up?

I believe it is the temporary hat you get in Freeport for the Blacktooth Brawlers. You dont actually get to mog the hat, just wear it after the questline while within freeport and not in combat.

There is a red hat but you can get it from doing island expeditions.

Those outfits are in the game, as part of a questline where you dress up as a pirate. You click on a chest during it, and you are wearing one of those exact outfits.

It’s a shame that is the only time we get to wear those outfits. They would make a lovely cosmetic transmog option.

the only set around is the non cosmetic Bloodsail pirate gear but its only moggable on cloth wearers

Says it’s cosmetic, I’d like to see how they look though.

download mogit addon it has a pop up window that shows you any gear you type in as a 3D model you can see the item even if you don’t have it or a chat link to inspect it with

makes finding just the right set up less of a headache since you can basically try the gear on before you actually mog it

Thanks for posting Jackmad! I can purchase for dubloons at vendor for those. Will have to make a photo memory as reminder. This is the one that dropped for me while doing expeditions.

I finally got to take a look at those pieces and I do like them! (Especially the blue one). It’s a shame I only got half of the required dubloons. Gotta farm a bit more :laughing:

If I’m not mistaken. Theres a pirate hat in wod. I think it was tied to the shipyard. Also, one of the benthic helms. I think leather.
