{How to get Rune} Quality of Life Rune Change Request for Priests: Despair

Greetings all,

I am having a horrible time on my priest with getting basically the BiS Shadow Priest Rune: Despair. For those who do not know what this rune does

Periodic damage from your spells can now be critical strikes and all your damaging spell critical strikes deal 200% damage.

Right now I need a Warlock or a Mage to come with me to the Leylines to open them. I believe you can get scrolls to open them, but it requires a mage to make them and I have not seen those scrolls in my AH for 1 week. As a result, I need a warlock to send a demon into the void rips on an 18 min cd that maybe is lucky to bring back what we need to do the Leyline.

That said, I believe it is time to remove this aspect of the Rune and just have us Click the Leylines to open or give Priests the option to do a quest to provide 4 scrolls so we can solo the Leylines.

also, side question with some of the runes locked behind specific meditations, am I right in assuming getting many runes will be more difficult if I rolled a fresh priest right now?

Nah, I still see frequent “[player] meditates with [otherplayer]” emotes in Stormwind. So if you’re on a large server and of the ‘majority faction’, you shouldn’t have trouble getting the Prayer buffs.

Though, me being cheeky and all, I do have an alt account with a Prayer Priest on it, to avoid needing to ask around. :stuck_out_tongue:
