This lil dragon follows me around everywhere offering a quest called “To Dragonbane Keep” which is bugged and broken so I abandoned it. But this Flaps NPC appears and follows me around until I accept the quest again.
…but it’s broken, so I’m dropping it, then he reappears again. Is there a way to get rid of him permanently while still not accepting the quest?

didnt notice any quest bug for that region. only 1 quest bugged out for me in azure span i think. the npc ran and nothing happened, then i abandoned quest and he never reappeared lol
cant retake that quest now… idk if it was a big chain or a nothing burger… such mystery.

Accept it and turn off tracking. Its what i do on fresh alts in legion for artifact quests
Whats bugged about it for you? I just did it on my alt not too long ago.
Nothing ever happens.
Its a timed event. Next one is started literally RIGHT at noon EST.
When you accept it, its not supposed to do anything.

Accepting the quest and not tracking it isn’t really an option if your quest log is full. Dismissing the quest should make Herald Flaps go away until he has something new to deliver. Optionally, he can hang out somewhere in Valdrakken if someone has a sudden urge to pick up one of his old quests.
Alternatively, make the size of the quest log bigger (and reflect that change in MAX_QUESTLOG_QUESTS).
