How to get rid of battle.net balance

So, i have about 90 dollars of bnet balance and have zero will or wish to buy anything from this company again. Quite frankly, their competitors in every genre put out better games anyways.

Now, I have friends that still play so would like to just give it to them but cant find an option. What options are there to get rid of this balance without buying any games.

you mean gift your balance to a friend? not sure you can gift balance you already own, so you might be better off using your currency to gift them digital items.

You can’t transfer the money. But you can use it to buy store mounts or pets and give them to your friends. They’re giftable things. All anyone else needs is the claim code.

Hate to break it to you but Blizzard already has that $90 you put on your account. The could not care less if you ever use it. They already have your money.

Balance can’t be gifted or transferred between accounts. You would have to use it to buy an item as a gift for a friend if you want to give it away.

Ask your friends if there is anything they want, then go to the store and hit the Gift option. If they’re on your Real ID/Battle Tag you should be able to gift it directly to them, if not, use your own Email as the gift target and just forward the gift Email you get to them after confirming their Email if you don’t know it already.

there is no other option and there is nothing you will accomplish by no longer buying from blizzard to end the bad behaviors they are being accused of. But if feeling good about yourself because you believe you are doing “something” then sure go for it. LOL

Companies LOVE gift cards, and they love them even more when they are never redeemed.

I’ll take it, no charge whatsoever!

Its not my money, its unskilled players that paid for runs.

You can’t gift a balance but you can just ask your friend if they have any game that they want to buy, then you can gift them that game.

Or just buy token and convert it to ingame gold.

LMAO! Even funnier than you realize. By you using tokens to get that bnet balance, blizzard actually made 20% MORE money from you!

I guess you could buy tokens and gift the gold to your friends?

However you view it, i dont really care. Im here for a solution, not to carry you through the content your too unskilled to do yourself.

Oh but you do. You just made an entire virtue signaling thread about it.

The best solution I can think of is use it to buy some kind of actual physical object (plushie, etc…) and then you’re welcome to burn it in effigy. They get 100% of your money if you don’t spend it or if you redeem for a non-physical object whereas they at least have to pay cost of materials for physical objects.

Use it or lose it, friend. Using it is the lesser of two evils.
