Apologies if this is not the right place to post this question.
I want to get redeemed souls for the Necrolord covenant (I was always Kyrian so am switching to NL for the first time on this toon). I want the souls so i can upgrade my anima conductor so that I get more greatful offerings from the callings.
At the moment the soul warden doesn’t offer the quest and I have completed the first chapter of the campaign already.
There’s usually a weekly for the souls (the maw/torghast), Would check again tomorrow during reset. I used to buy my alts (main maxed a covenant to 80) the catchup renown item to 40 and then grind whatever quests I could get for souls and renown to do upgrades on each character.
I can’t remember the name but the npc that gives you the quest to go rescue souls from the maw also offers a repeatable version so you can keep doing it.

Sorry to ask, but did you finish and turn in the original quest you received? Sometimes the objectives disappear if you get disconnected, but the quest remains in your log.
Also, make sure to have “trivial quests” turned on to be displayed in your mini-map.
The “Return More Souls” repeat quest is usually blue (as opposed to the first one being yellow), by the way, and sometimes the soul warden is offering other blue callings quests. You may be forced into accepting the souls quest automatically by talking to the NPC, and the repeat souls quest may be in your log in a different place than the yellow one was.

Yea the soul warden who usually offers the quest has no quests available when i talk to him and I never picked one of the soul quests up (it was never available). I think I’ll wait for reset (tomorrow) and maybe that will solve the problem.
I recently switched to Night Fae because I wanted to go through the play event again, and I didn’t get the quest to pick up souls during the Covenant Intro quests. I had to go back to Oribos and Bolvar gave me a quest that gave me five souls.

Oh, is this your first ever Shadowlands toon on that account?
If so, there will probably be no covenant intro skip, and without the skip you will definitely need to go back into the Maw for another campaign chapter. So I would proceed with the covenant campaign (even if they take you to Oribos or the Maw) until you unlock the weekly anima and souls quests.
