The 1800 wall is unbearable, full of last season duelist geared 4 set try hards, especially when you have 0 tier yourself
I got to 1799, then face glad geared players and just get smoked back down

Technically an exaggeration.
You get past that wall by playing to get better at the game not playing to force good boy number go up.

I’m only doing this for the transmog because I like the shoulders, the second I get to 1800 I’m done with pvp for the season

I would not sweat it and just wait then. The longer a season lasts the more inflation there is so in a couple weeks 1800 will be easier to get without you having to improve at all.

ok, well, you have any tips on not wanting to throw your computer out when you are so close to your goal only to get battered?
Many people have done it without tier.
Keep playing and you’ll improve, or wait till catalyst opens

Go text/call some friends and just talk.
Good way to remind yourself it’s a video game and that the virtual number within means literally nothing.
I’m putting in time and energy though, that’s not nothing.

Idk why people keep saying it’ll get easier….it’s not. People that are duelist or glads will still be in the same brackets helping and carrying others. Tier sets aren’t going to balance the game. It’s only going to make things more miserable. It’ll be unhealable dmg. And it’ll be another reason for people to be here and complain. My suggestion is just keep playing track cds and learn to push and learn when to run. Voice with a partner to coordinate cc. Force defensives and go from there for double cc and kill. Good luck

Yeah I know it’s just going to keep getting harder, even if I do get tier I still have to switch covenants and I have no clue how to play necro hpal and get used to not having all the utility of Kyrian
It’s about the effort you put in. I’m having fun but getting smacked by people I have no chance of winning against is just demoralizing. Especially when I got an inch away from my goal.

you’ll have even more fun when you finally realize how you should deal with certain situations over time and then u get the big happy chemicals when it works out.
the only problem with this is that when it doesn’t work out u get the BAD chemicals…
It’s not your fault. There is absolutely no way to get 1800 right now without tier and if someone tells you otherwise report them for gaslighting.

Getting into a game and recognizing other players names who have killed you over and over again for days just feels like I’m running into a brick wall
There is a frost mage destro warlock rdruid 3’s comp that just demolishes me every time I face them, and they just sit at the 1800 wall, even my friends tell me about them getting rolled over by that comp
