Just got to like 200 engineering from scratch and noticed it says Cataclysm Engineering 1-75 up top. Kinda new to professions so a little confused. I heard I need to go to Northrend and Pandaria for their trainers. This true? If so, any idea where they might be?
With BfA professions were divided by expansions so you can level each one separately in any order. Unlike in the past where they were all lumped together in 700 levels.
The Cataclysm trainer is the same as the vanilla one. So check Stormwind or any of the faction capitals. At level 80 you’ll be able to get Cata recipes. Other trainers are in their expansion’s cities.
Goblin Gliders you can make in your garrison with the building and nitro boosts is WoTLK.
When you get to Pandaria, you’ll be able to learn and apply nitro boosts and a glider to your equipment.
Thanks. Any idea on how to switch to lets say Northrend Engineering? I just learned it from their trainer but it still says Cataclysm Engineering up top.
Have you tried going down the list? You effectively ‘have’ all of the versions of Engineering, you’d just have to craft stuff from that expansion to level it for that particular expansion’s worth of content.
I think.
Ah yeah got it. Thanks!
