anyone that plays wow already has their brains scooped out with a spoon, next.
If your friend “forced” YOU, they should already be there.
This lol, most of us that play it do so because we are “used to it” and we must be sick in the head or something.
It’s terrible as an actual PvP game, but for MMO PvP, it’s still among the best lol.
MMOs generally have bad PvP.
Having played around twenty+ MMOs over the decades, WoW’s PvP is (one of) the most serviceable/playable.
But it’s still only like halfway there, in comparison to actual PvP games.
MoBAs and Hero Shooters generally do it better.
But seriously, you just need to show him/her what you enjoy about it and hope some of that interests them
I still have the spoon too (they let me keep it because there wasn’t much to scoop out).
Honestly wow pvp is horrible, wins the one with best gear, not skills
and to get gear you literally have to be step on by people with better gear, you dont even have a chance to defend youself because the difference is just way too much

i introduced my friend to pvp an expansion ago but she didn’t like it.
uh… to be fair, I did coax my friend back in shadowlands to do mythic+ with me I slowly introduced it to her she went from being a questing player only to a really good m+er

pvp will keep suffering as long as the gear is so different.
it’s really hard to convince someone to do pvp when all their hard earned gear doesnt really work there. and whatever gear they accumulate for pvp will be useless in pve also.
tough situation for anyone that’s not strictly into pvp.
it was alright when you just had to change your trinkets.
now you need full pvp gear to start having fun. a lot of people will just not do it.
are you sure they arent using the fake glasses and moustache to fool you? The CIA may already be there.
