How to get gears in Shadowlands?

I mean conquest gears. I tried to Google but they are all related to honor gears which we shouldn’t care about because we all know they sucks.

What’s the item level of those conquest gears and how to upgrade them?
Do you get better gears by doing Mythic raiding than by farming arena/RBG in the first few weeks? Still not sure how this works.

Never mind, I found it.

  • Conquest gear : Item Level 190-222 (upgradable)
  • Heroic Difficult : Item Level 213-220
  • Mythic Difficult : Item Level: 226-233

Not sure how big of a difference would a 4 item-levels (222 vs 226) or 11 item-levels (222 vs 233) made in Shadowlands.

if you’re here when the game releases you’ll wanna spend the first 2 weeks before arenas open doing mythic + 0

then when arenas open you’ll wanna do your first cap and try to get at least 1600 first week so your cache gives a heroic raid ilvl loot (213)
if you cant get 1600 week 1 you need to a mythic +7 so your pve cache gives you a 213 piece

conquest gear from the vendor will either be an ilvl dependent on your current rating, or it’ll be a low ilvl you upgrade with a currency based on your current rating

Perfect. So the plan seems like this:

  1. Find a Mythic raiding guild (cutting edge capable because of the 233 gears, not sure how big of a difference would 11 item-levels would make)
  2. Finish Mythic 15 for the Vault
  3. Finish at least 1600 rating in the week 1
  4. Clear Heroic and do some Mythic(if possible) ASAP.

Outside world first and high key teams, no one will be clearing these the first week or two, better off shooting for a 5-7 key.

True. But clear at least Heroic at week 1 and do some Mythic in week 2 for sure.

Heroic raid won’t be open till week 3. Same with M+. You will only be able to do m0 the first two weeks then on week 3 it is cap at M+6.

also just incase, i used week one when talking about 1 week of mythic/m+/arena season

the first 2 weeks will just be m+0 spamming and professions / torghast

Do you know if they changed this from legion and Bfa ? First two weeks of those expansions you could only run every mythic 0 dungeon one time for loot. With there being such less dungeons are they changing that? Seems weird with new xpack being considered very quick to level and slightly less dungeons on release than other xpacks that they would keep us limited to a single run of every dungeons for the first 2 weeks. You could always run multiple dungeons on heroic but even at the start they are trivially easy and not worth the time for ilvl of gear.
