So, my general discussion thing isn’t working, so I’m forced to post on classic. The question is, how do you get dark iron dwarves or any different race like that.
If you can’t post in the general forum i’m pretty sure that means you don’t have game time on your account… and idk, it’s some legion rep grind thing or something for all the allied races.
If you want a dark iron dwarf, there’s a bunch in Blackrock Mountain. Roll a priest, mind control one of them, and grats on your variant dwarf.
You can see from my account right there that I’m lvl 20 so I do have game time.
Yeah, level 20 is the cap for people without game time. haha
So, you need to mind control them, than you are able to have a dark iron dwarf.
Here you have what you want to know:
And I just have 20 levels on this guy, I have more on others on different accounts but it doesn’t work on those ones to.
Well i’m sure if you paid for a subscription they’d let you post on the general forum.
I can’t tell whether you are a completely new player or are trolling. In case it’s the first, here is an actual answer.
In order to play a race that is not unlocked by default (an Allied Race), you first must own the Battle For Azeroth expansion. You must level a character to at least 110, and unlock the race by gaining reputation with a particular faction and doing a quest line.
For Dark Iron Dwarves, that reputation is the 7th Legion, the Alliance War Effort reputation in Battle for Azeroth, which you must be Exalted with. This requires a level 120 Alliance character.
World of Warcraft allows you to level characters up to level 20 without a subscription. To continue playing past that on a given character, you must purchase game time.
Can I be an death knight in the alliance, level it to 120 and be able to get dark iron dwarf. (My dad has payed for wow and I use his account usually)
Yes, there are no restrictions on what class you use to gain the reputation.
(It’s even easier with a demon hunter, since they start at higher level than death knights, if you were just thinking about skipping as many levels as possible.)
Any max toon so long as the accounts are linked, the toon is alliance and has the required rep to unlock them.
Do the final unlock quest on a max toon (doesn’t matter which one so long as it is max level)
Then just make a dark iron.
The Dark Iron racial is very handy as a rogue because I can get most dots off me if I need to vanish / restealth.
outside the racial and apperance, they are pretty much dwarf style animations, etc.
I have to admit I like this fellow.
This is the Classic discussion forum and you are posting on a trial account. Either way wrong forum.
Can we report this? I’m doing it.
Your question has nothing to do with Classic.
Ok, I told you that my general isn’t working.
Who cares, troll somewhere else!
How am I, cause I’m not.
It will work when you actually pay your sub fee. Either way this is the wrong forum.
You weren’t “forced” to post anything here. You CHOSE to violate the forum CoC.
