Well, I just earned Breath of the Dying (Rank 1) and installed it my Heart of Azeroth. However, I cannot figure out how to get the spell onto an action bar so it can be cast.
Noob question no doubt, but when I obtained “The Crucible of Flame”, the spell appeared in my spell book. Not so Breath of the Dying.
What am I missing? What must I do to cast this spell?

Bring up your Heart window. You can drag straight from the Heart window to an action bar.
SHIFT + RIGHT click on the heart to bring up the window BTW.
You have to actual “slot” essences into your Heart of Azeroth when using the Heart Forge (the same screen where you learn the essences). The unlocked essences shown on the right aren’t all perpetually active - only the ones you have slotted.
Once your necklace is level 75, you will have access to four slots: one major and three minor slots (you have the major right away, then unlock the three minor slots as you level up your necklace, with the final one being at 75).
The major slot is the large one in the center. Only essences placed in your major slot have an activatable ability (and some don’t - just VERY powerful passives if used as a major).
Once you slot it as your major essence, you can click on it (in the heart forge, not from the list on the right side) and drag it onto your action bar.
Drag and drop like any other ability. It’ll also be in your spellbook.
It’s listed under General and not the Spec tab. ((had to confirm its location))
But yes, what Divinaction said is also true. It needs to be slotted INTO the center Heart Slot. Then it will appear in the General tab in your spellbook.
