How to get attuned to Onyxia?

The beginning quest of the attunement chain is not available from Helendis Riverhorn. Google is of no help.

Do you still need to be attuned? Leaving the old Onyxia fight in the game is a classic only thing so if you do need to be attuned it’s probably an oversight.

I tried to zone in solo but it said I didn’t meet the requirements

try making a raid group. some still require you to be 50+ within a raid group. while others (karazhan and molten core) let you enter solo without any group.
