I’ve tried ForgeFinder for Shu’halo/Eitrigg, but couldn’t find anyone. I thought about posting on the realm(s) forum, but I really don’t see any crafting discussion going on in there.
Idk why we can’t have minimum quality for public orders, especially now that we have patron orders. From what I understood, Blizz didn’t want a min on public orders so all crafters had a chance to get work. We have plenty of work from NPCs now, so allow min quality on public orders. I’m putting 10-15k commissions on orders and getting back rank 2-3.
I did manage to find an awesome person advertising in game- Demersus-Eitrigg (I hope it’s ok to shout them out on here) and they hammered me out a quality 5 Everforged Greataxe within the hour.
Idk… there has to be a better way to get good gear made.
Edit: I have asked in trade. A lot. No, it isn’t hard, but I thought that would have been a given if I’m desperate enough to come to the forums for advice.
Because everyone posting a public order would demand maximum quality every single time and only want to pay 20 gold for something that eats 300+ concentration every craft. Which in turn means only the long time crafters would actually be able to answer said orders thus killing competition and driving prices up even higher. Then when no one fills their orders because they want to pay pennies for something worth far more, they’ll come on here and whine about how no one wants to fill their orders.
If you want a specific quality of craft, put out an ad in trade chat and talk to some crafters. I’m calling shenanigans you can’t find a crafter to make something. Only way you can’t is if you’re wanting to use a ton of their concentration or similar and pay them next to nothing.
There is, remove qualities from all the things. Putting a minimum quality on public orders wouldn’t work cause no one is going to post a one star order unless they’ve been drinking too much.
Just post in trade for someone, I dont get why this is so hard for people. And apparently in TWW you dont really need to tip people like in DF so people think its cool to tip 1-2k and thats it.
Im not sure about you but if public orders ever allow minimum quality to be set it will be permanently set to the highest option because why would you ever pick anything else?
You must have overlooked the part where I said I include all high quality mats.
It takes longer to come on here and ask how to find crafters than to bark in trade. Waiting in trade isn’t getting me anywhere, so I came here. so shove the attitude.
Don’t worry, no one will fill your orders or those of anyone else.
And that changes anything how?
First, off slow your roll there dude because the tough guy attitude isn’t helping you, and it shows me part of why you’ve been waiting in trade.
Second, they’re not going to do quality on the public orders because again only the long time crafters would ever be able to answer orders and it would stifle competition. Then you’ll really find out what expensive is. Your “solution” is not a solution at all but instead would drive prices up for everyone, yourself included. In the time you’ve spent whining in here you could’ve found a crafter.
I’ve explained to you why they’re not doing quality on public orders. Now I have to ask, what are you trying to get crafted and what are you offering for a commission? Because if you’re offering a high enough commission then folks will craft about anything. Depending on what you’re doing someone on here might craft it for you. Otherwise I can dip out as can everyone else because you want to be a tough guy, and you’ll still be stuck in the situation you are now with none to craft for you. Take your pick.
read what I said slower because you missed it. not about the acuity. It’s about the concentration and similar as to why folks aren’t going to do minimum quality and public crafts. Now again you gonna answer the question of what you’re trying to get crafted and how much you’re wanting to pay so folks might could help you, or do you want to still act tough? Cause all of us can just walk away if you want and you’ll still be without a crafter.
yeah i had a character on a dead server that ended up being guildless so I got it invited to my mains guild and I can’t send personal orders to my other characters but if I put in a guild order my other characters or any other character in the guild can fill it.
Plus with guild orders you can put minimum quality.
Yeah unfortunately I’m not getting anything done but posting in trade. Then you have to kinda watch how much you bark because people start saying you’re spamming too much. So I usually just do it when I log in and then play, then do it for a bit before I log out.
They didn’t care about “a chance to get work” on public orders… that’s now taken care of by Patron Orders. However, they still cling to the outdated notion of “SERVER identitity” and knowing the best crafter for making rings, or weapons, or whatever is something they don’t want to let go of. If you could place a quality on Public Orders, everyone would just ask for rank-5.
I don’t see a problem with that given Patron Orders fulfill the need for crafters just looking for skill/spec-tree points that can’t make R5 yet, but the Game Director is slow to admit his thoughts are out of touch/outdated and should be changed. To the best of my knowledge, I’ve never heard Ion give an updated opinion of crafting from this interview where he said “It’s working as we intend… Public Orders are if you want something quick and do NOT care about quality.”
