AV is a lost cause on the alliance side, so your best options are probably to farm the druid turn in or fish at the lake.

Wait for av weekend
I feel AV weekend is worse for rep because all the people who want Honor care nothing for rep, and take loot tokens but don’t bother turn in. I feel non-AV Weekend gets more rep grinding.
I also feel AV favors Horde. I mean nearly every game I see clipping up the back wall by the south bunker. What’s up with that?
So if you are alliance your best bet to gain Rep is to stand and hold the druids and repeatedly tell people to turn in druid storm crystals. Forgot about a Alliance win (it happened but maybe 1 out of 10 games). Just focus in rep turn in and then never play AV again once you get exalted. That is the only way to make the Horde pay… super long queues for AV as most alliance won’t play.

By looting enemy corpse after they die.
There are 5 different turn ins from the stuff you loot.

Take advice from someone who just finished this grind and now has PTSD from it. Your team can easily get from 1-3k rep or more per game following this strategy. Hold SHGY as long as possible while farming crystals from horde bodies - when we lose SHGY, start first round of turn ins while someone begins to hold the druids - head to SPGY right away after turning in to rinse and repeat the crystal rep farm. Hold for as long as possible for max rep, once you lose SPGY do final turn ins, try to get a Lok kill. Easy strategy ----- the hard part is getting your whole team to do it. Good luck!

Wait, you sure killing the opposite faction daddy gives rep ? I never noticed it but ive seen Ivus maybe 3 times.
Holding SHGY (and then SPGY) for as long as possible is not “scorched earth”. Scorched earth is doing everything possible to deny any possible gains that your enemy might make, not simply maximizing your own gains. Scorched earth alliance side would be doing things like killing the wing commanders so that horde can’t benefit from freeing them, and nothing of the sort was discussed in the post you responded to.
Your definition of scorched earth seems to equate to “not roll over and die”. The term scorched earth, in the context of AV, is usually referring to horde doing everything they can to deny any benefit to alliance players whatsoever, even if those gains do not impact the gains made by horde. Stopping alliance from killing LTs, and killing returning alliance WCs don’t increase honor or rep that the horde players gain, or even impact the outcome of the game, but there are horde that will do everything they can to deny alliance from getting any benefit. I’ve been in an AV where very early on a group backdoored into DB just to kill the armor scrap turn in guy.
