I cant seem to win vs them, even when i use IBF and AMS i still get obliterated through it. Trinkets/Bubbles my pet stun and aspyhxiate.
How do you win duels against rets??
They are a hard match up tbh, I’m no pro and haven’t PvP’d in a while but I think talent’s are key here. Transfusion is a key talent for extra survivability and I never not use this. Besides that I usually spend most if not all of my runic power on death strikes to keep my health topped up.
When Pallies pop wings I usually try to kit them using chains to slow at least until they use their remove slow buff.
Besides all that use Anti magic shell to negate some of the burst/ go immune to a pally’s stun as it’s a magic effect. Also use Lichborne and/or Anti magic zone to negate more of their damage as I believe some or alot of it is holy damage (Correct me if i’m wrong). Also Dark sim talent to steal good spells like, stun, BOP and even bubble can work nicely.
Pally’s have a pretty dam hard to beat kit so I guess just try a few things and play with some of the talents we have at our disposal.
AMZ wings to shut down their burst. Chains/kite Eye for an Eye so you’re not reflecting damage on yourself; AMS Vengeance Shield. Death Pact/Transfusion to stay alive.
If it’s close, IBF or Death’s Advance during bubble to kite. Then finish em when bubble drops. (Another trick is to spam Chains/Outbreak at range to build up RP for Death Strikes.)
well, son… youre fighting an uphill battle there… seriously.
all i can say is i hope ya get lucky with crits and i hope your enemy paladin is stupid as heck, otherwise its not looking good.
Paladins are one of the best duel specs, you literally have to kill them 4 times if u dont have purge (you dont have purge s a dk right?)
so basically youve got to burst down his shield, burst down his hp, but then he will just bubble and heal to full, then u do that cycle all over again and he will just lay on hands, u do that cycle YET AGAIN and then he BoP, you do it ONE MORE TIME, if ur good enough to survive against this 30k dps for this long u may have a chance of beating one.

I generally concede if they decide to LOH. Basically a full reset for them that is instant (whereas they can’t heal to full in bubble, just a decent amount, but it also takes time to cast it). I don’t use army of the dead either, so I expect they won’t use LOH.
Use a ret paladin.
