How to disrespect people's time in Keys - the ultimate guide

  1. Listing a key, then going afk to “make lunch” the second the roster is filled
  2. Creating a group called “Standard” or “Beat Timer” and trying to sneak in your under-geared friends without disclosing that it’s a carry run (special place in Hades for people who do this, seriously)
  3. Being above 2000 on your raiderIO score but always seeming to “accidentally pull” enemies we should be skipping. (Like those last two dudes before last boss in Uldaman, I want to stab my eyes out when people do this…)
  4. Pulling for the tank, period.
  5. Being allergic to your interrupt and stun buttons (gasp!)
  6. Stacking the entire group with melee on weeks like spiteful and incorporeal or gasp…both??
  7. Listing a Freehold when it’s really Brackenhide Hollow…?
  8. Magically disconnecting when there’s been one wipe…

Did I miss anything?

Yes, leaving during the 10s start bubble to spite someone who didn’t invite you on another character. (There was a recent forum post about someone actually doing this rofl)

Bonus points if the character is your baby alt that you wouldn’t invite to that key either.

Invite a hunter named Hamstar.

Oh yeah also inviting someone and kicking them out because their spec hasn’t been used by a different person to time world first keys.

People who say this probably need to get better @ the game. That’s fine, there are places to do that…pugged keys above 10’s aren’t really that; no matter the period in the season. You want to do a high key with all guidies? that’s totally cool and I get it, but making the community teach you in that environment is incredibly rude.

Posting on your main.

Quite the opposite, it’s the kind of player that thinks their the best thing since sliced bread, and any small error sets them off on a whole tangent about how stupid you are and how much better they are. Cause their gamer God, who can never do any wrong even when they screw something up, it’s someone’s else’s fault as to why they died.

we’re not talking about the same things and your’e just arguing to argue at this point.

Learn the dungeons with guildies or in much lower keys where you properly notated that you dunno what the heck you’re doing and need help. Stop expecting free carries.

Wtf are you even carrying on about? :joy:

Shoccking just took part in your post and added to the list, you decided to start arguing with them about what they meant, making up assumptions, and they’re the ones “just arguing to argue”?

Your logic is astounding. Not in a good way.

his implications were pretty clear, even if his grammar wasn’t; but please, carry on.

Here’s how I can disrespect my own time, for fun:

List groups for keys that don’t exist.

Eg. Dungeons from a previous season or next season, like the mega dungeon

Sometimes you can get some fun whispers!

What implications? Talk to us like we’re 5.

It sounds like you took what they said personally, so unless y’all have some sort of history of going back and forth on the forums, you might wanna ask yourself why you did. Cause from my perspective, it’s simply calling out those who think they’re perfect and everything they do is perfect and if something goes wrong it’s someone else’s fault, always, which… in response to your post… it’s disrespecting others’ time by having to listen to that bs. Just keep moving and stop the blame game.

Seems like a reasonable addition that attracted your unnecessary response.

You’re right, I guess not using the correct “there/their/they’re” means I am probably giving him too much credit by thinking he was being side-eye shady.
Still, people who use terms like “Gamer God” are the kind of people who frustrate me in keys because they don’t own their mistakes or even apologize for them; they pretend no one noticed and are the first ones to NOT answer if you ask “how did that happen,” or “what killed you?”

I find that it is often those who have the mentality as if they’re “gamer gods,” for lack of a better term, that are the ones messing up. Tanks just standing in stuff or having the mobs turned towards the group. Or there will be melee complaining about low interrupt numbers from the ranged players. They’re the wanna be “elitist” trash who don’t understand what went wrong and go straight to blaming instead of listening. It’s the attitude that comes with them, nobody wants to hear that.

Oh that’s nothing. A few months back there was one guy who so unbelievably butthurt about getting declined/kicked that he proceeded to join multiple other groups and then would bail part way on purpose and proceed to leave a message that this was “punishment” for previously getting kicked/declined.

It’s honestly a big part of the reason I don’t touch m+ anymore. There’s way too many crazies out there.

just clear the last 2 dudes before the uldaman boss. its less annoying than having to jump against a wall 14 times until it works.
