The gong is…OK, but the bugle noise is beyond obnoxiously triggering, and I can’t find a way to turn it off.
Any ideas?

Probably that addon that mutes sounds based on their ID? Idk I’ve never considered muting it because I tend to queue up for things and then walk away to grab a drink or something so the sound tells me to come back.

Should be an addon that does that.
There used to be a way to replace sounds in the addons folder the way you can replace fonts. I’m not sure if it still works or not. You have to know the path of the sound and the sound name in order to do it.

Check out this thread. There is an addon name drop and farther below someone added the correct sound file number to mute the noise. Might work.
