How do I disable the DUNGEON PORTAL SOUND in wow classic!?
WITHOUT disabling the ready check sound? I just want to AFK dungeons in peace!
SOUND EFFECTS lets you hear ready check AND portal sound but if I disable it I lose both.
Can I like delete the sound file for portals if so where is it and how do I do it, thank you! <3 xoxo Mochiie-moo!
That would be fantastic if there’s a way to disable it. It does get annoying lol.
Hey I know this is a late reply but I found a solution.
You go into Esc > System > Sound > Hardware > Sound Channels
You change whatever setting you’re on (Low, Medium, High) to a different one (doesn’t matter which for me)
and it’ll mute the instance portal sound effect.
It’s weird though because everytime you rezone it’ll reset the setting and you’ll have to re-do it all over again.
I wonder if there’s a command to change this so we can just make a macro…
