I have a friend with a character on another server, opposite faction.
Is there any way to use a cross-faction system I hear about to group up but don’t know how to use, to be able to party cross-server as well? I want to tank for them.

You cant do lfd or lfr as cross faction
Otherwise just invite them through your friends list and go to the dungeon/raid
the fact that we’re at the end of the expansion thats abt “coming together” and still not able to fully play w/ friends is sad. not sure if they even touched on this for tww but hoping on the way to it they add more things for df such as this.
I am pretty sure they said the last if the alliance horde restrictions were being removed with the new xpack later this year at BlizzCon
Does this work if they are cross faction though?
IDK how the cross-faction system works and anytime you look up directions online it’s some stupid gaming journalism article that’s 10000 words
It is silly that I can queue and end up in a cross faction group, but I cannot queue with friends who are opposite faction.
Unless there was an interview that I don’t recall, they never said anything of the sort. At least not explicitly.
They did say they are working to removing these barriers but it takes time. Spaghetti code. Ect, ect.
I have buddy in my friends who is horde. When im on my alliance character i can open my friends list and still inv then to my group.
I cannot w lfd or lfr or rando bgs with them.
I could do m+, normal and up raids, and arena if i wanted
Are they from another server as well?
Yes they are
