There is an original Bruto on one of the BMAH, that rose to 9,999,999 way before auction completion. Seems like an inflation insta-win on sought after items. Monetization into RL cash for resale, or severe gold sink?
The old school Longbois often go for gold cap. The only way to beat that is to get there first and bid the maximum.

Yup! On the majority of the servers this particular mount goes for gold cap on the BMAH. My strongest suggestion if you wish to obtain this mount is to check the BMAH right when all of the auctions are listed for the day!
It’s possible this may happen. But I’m betting it will be one of the raid mounts from BFA when Timewalking finally comes to the game.
Just like you get a chance from the loot box for a mount from the raids from The Burning Crusade (Tempest Keep) and Wrath of the Lich King (Ulduar Raid) when those respective Timewalking events are Live in-game!
Gilded brutosaur was better and far cheaper, if you wanted one then you should have gotten it.
Especially with warband gold transfer, special things on the BMAH are always going to sell at gold cap. If the OG brutosaur is already hitting the cap a month after the new one became unavailable, safe bet that it is always going to have a maximum bid.

I have no buyers remorse. In-game inflation has finally hit the gold cap and should probably be re-evaluated.
Whatever new gold cap they use would just be what zulian tiger and brutosaur would go for then. Even if it was 999m

considering the new ones could be bought for just under 1,000,000 1/2 I think I’d rather ignore the old ones on that auction house and just wait for the other ones to be added back into the cash shop lol because you know it’s gonna happen as soon as blizzard gets tight on money. They’re going to re-color it change up the races on the vendors, modify the armor ever so slightly and there will be another $90 amount before you know it. 
Definitely time to raise the gold cap, let the whales battle it out over top BMAH items instead of it being a sniping exercise.

I’m sure it’ll be back. $15 million from one mount? No way they’re not trying to pull that card out of the deck again.
I have to admit that I would be super curious to see what some of the BMAH items would go for if they were to 10x or even 100x the gold cap. But I also haven’t really given a lot of thought to what other effects that might have on the game. But it would be fun to see!

In my opinion if something is gold cap then I think other people should have the option to bid and then it’ll go to a random person.
I don’t think rewarding the first person to snipe it is fair.
