How to check map of BGs

Perhaps this is a silly question, especially considering how long I’ve played this game, but I can’t seem to find the answer anywhere when I search…

Is there a way to view BG maps when you are outside the BGs? I tried to find in map viewer but couldn’t.

Have you looked in wowhead?

I mean yeah of course I can do that, or just google image search. But I was wondering if there is a way to do it in-game?

Check out Atlas addon with a extension for additional maps. Hope this helps.
