How to check for Beta

  1. You will get an email (or you might not at all). This may be delayed as people were seeing the other elements first last night.
  2. Your Battle Net Launcher will have an entry under “In Development” for Beta: WoW Classic. Feel free to close and restart your Launcher if you want to be doubly sure that it refreshed.
  3. You will have a new “Game Subscription” in your Account for WoW: Classic Beta Test. Go to https://account.blizzard.com/games to check.

These things may not all happen at once, but the key one is the launcher. When you see that, you can begin downloading it.

EDIT: Emails are failing to send.

Did you finally get your key or are you just helping the blokes out that need to know they didn’t get it?

Edit: I now have three ways to verify I did not receive an invite yet!

Just being helpful, because I see a lot of questions on how to find out.

Have confirmed all the cases through streamers checking for me though.

nope, i have an overloaded email box and I don’t see one for the last couple of ones either, odd.

Can you do a check for me? Search for any emails from email@em.blizzard.com. I haven’t got a Classic email to confirm, but that’s where the BfA Alpha and Beta came from.

Emails have been delayed as stated somewhere earlier. The launcher is the first sign then everything else is more of a formality.

Can confirm. When beta launched, i went to my launcher, saw classic , changed to it and started downloading. While that was on going I checked my account and saw it added in the games. No email. However as I was watching the Rockies play Boston, I received an email from blizzard confirming it, which was like 5 hours later?

You’ve been selected to participate in the beta test of World of Warcraft Classic!

Note you dont not need to enter a ‘key’.

Here I was thinking I was free whilst at work from closing and reopening client.

Now I’m going to be F5ing this page all day!

It appears that 04-05 vanilla accounts are being invited atm.
