I’ve noticed people posting on their Classic characters, and I heard that you need a Classic character above level 10 to post with them.
Mine is level 12, but for some reason I can’t post on them.
How did you guys change character over to them on the forums?
Log out of your account, then log back in. That should refresh your character list.
Holy crab cakes you’re 41 already! You’re a druid so I guess that makes sense.
Just refresh the page, then right click on your avatar above. At the very bottom of the drop-down menu it says “Change Character”. Click on that & then scroll carefully - you will see your Classic character there somewhere. Click on the portrait & you’re done!
Be aware though, you start over fresh with the forums when you do that.

I was having the same problem you were having. Couldn’t post on my Classic character.
One day, I brought up these forums… and I could. I didn’t do anything. It just happened.
I can definitely confirm that this did NOT work for me when I was having the same problem. Then, one day, I COULD post on my Classic character. I didn’t do anything. It just happened.
There’s a mage I’ve seen posting named “Isheeparound”

Logging out of the character is also required, if you haven’t done that already. It also updates periodically internally, so perhaps it just needed to do that first.
For example, I’m 42 at the moment, not 41, but I still post on here as 41 because I haven’t logged out. If I logged out, I might still show as 41, though.
Your Classic character must be level 10 or higher to post. Mine show up after I refresh the page, no logging required.
Which is ironic because pre-launch there were several posts saying druids were crap in this variation of the game.
At some point in time, Blizz needs to put up stickies for questions like this. It’ll be very helpful.
I tried logging out and back in but I’m still only seeing my ‘retail’ characters and I don’t see any button that’ll change games.
Sometimes even logging out doesn’t seem to actually update it.
I hit 16 on the first night, and I’ve logged out multiple times since then.
Are you seeing both sets of characters on the one display box or do you have to somehow switch from retail to classic?
I see both sets of characters in the list when I go to change character.
Which my Priest is showing the right level in that box, but when posting it’s got no avatar with level 16.

When you hit the Character Change button it takes you to the page that lists all your characters. In the UPPER left corner there is a search box. Type in the name of your character you are looking for. It will show up then. 
It finally showed my Classic characters about an hour later … so patience seems needed.
Sweet, was losing my mind trying to figure out how to go about doing this! I’ve never even posted here, but I always just like to have my active character set.
