How to bug conflict and strife

Step 1.) Change honor talent to the one Conflict and Strife gives you!

Step 2.) Drag ability on to your bars!

Step 3.) Swap essence to Conflict and Strife and enjoy having two of the same spell that do not share a CD!

This does not work with every spell, for example Overgrowth won’t have that interaction. Seems like spells they changed for PvE (Lasso, Thorns, etc) were the ones that are main culprits

You can actually add another pvp talent in addition to this, because conflict technically wipes it.

Just ran into a sham abusing this in arena. Lasso every few seconds it was ridiculous.

2 options here:

  1. This is intended
  2. This is a bug and no one from blizz reads arena forums or pvps to even notice it

Either way its not good for pvpers…

It’s obviously not intended at all, stop trying to defend you exploiting this

Anyone abusing this should be permanently banned, I’d say disqualified from season titles but we all know anyone needing to use this won’t get any end of season rewards to begin with once it’s fixed

How can you permanently ban someone for using an ability that is on their bar when they put in a new essence?

Your telling me blizz is going to ban someone thats at 1200 rating just stepped into pvp and is just pushing buttons on their bar?

But yeah it’s totally intended design for you to double lightning lasso me off CD - totally an accident man! This is a brand new bug with conflict and strife that has not existed anyways for the past week.

It is definitely unintended to work like this

This is a new essence out today… you couldnt have it for the past week as it was looted in your pvp box.

I agree, if this was intended this would be a silly change.

But how can you honestly say that the average wow player that blizz caters to with lrf will not think lasso now has 2 charges.

Crucible of flame rank 3 gives you 2 charges of the essence. So maybe conflict and strife rank 2 gives you 2 charges of lasso? To most people that is entirely a possibility with the way blizz balances pvp right now.

Because I’m lucky enough to have some minor form of communication with some of them.

We’ve had access to it on TR for a whle, this is brand new and 100% a bug

It also isn’t giving you two charges like normal its just the same ability twice in different locations on your bar so it’s like really blatantly unintended and seeing people really obviously exploit it after reading the thread and playing dumb is pretty silly too

Nah it worked on TR. It was slightly different though, you could 100% have two different OG cds.

Idk I never saw this happen once on TR, there was a different bug but never saw anyone use this until now

We are talking about same thing, I don’t think it was actually conflict and strife related on TR actually. Should correct my former post, but there’s a way on TR to get two different OG casts, but it’s done in starting room.

Regardless, people abusing this should be banned, and especially since lasso actually triple dips in to this because it continues to stun after it’s supposed to end.

Then people lose while abusing this and it’s like ???
