According to Wowhead I should have received a quest to begin pre-patch content. AFAIK, I never received a quest. However, when I logged onto an alt, the alt received a quest called Radiant Echoes. Is this not the quest that starts the pre-patch content? If so, why isn’t my main receiving this quest?
Off to the right, where all the quests are listed, there should be a box with a “click on me” style quest named Radiant Echos”.
It tells you to go to Dalaran, the Legion variant and see Khadghar.
There is a portal to the right of the AH in Stormwind and to the right of either the AH or bar/inn in Orgrimmar. Or use your purple stone.
Once there go inside the structure in the center of the city, step on the little pedestal looking thing, which transfers you to a room whose name I forget, but has a long hallway that ends in a room full of portals. Khadgar will be waiting there.
Then you pretty much go to the portal that is active and go nuts. The active portal will he a different color and have a timer over it.
Once you arrive in the zone see the dude standing nearby for that zones big boss kill daily.
Dragonblight it is a Argent Crusader
Searing Gorge is a Water elemental Duke.
Dustwallow is, some dude on a dock whose name I forget.
That’s the problem. I didn’t receive the quest ‘Radiant Echos’.
The quest is called The Harbinger.
Just use your Dalaran Hearthstone (or go through the Legion Portal in the Portal Room) then enter the center chamber and you’ll find it.
You don’t actually have to receive the quest to start Radiant Echoes, that’s why it’s such a good way to level Alts.
