hi hi big noob here just started playing. i was wondering when do you start to level professions . im still only lv 6 . any advice would be greatly apricated
Level 10 is when professions become available. Easiest way is head to your capital city and ask a guard to give directions to the profession trainers you want that character to learn.

I can’t remember when professions become available on Wrath Classic, but on Retail you can start at level 5. If you’re currently in Exile’s Reach I don’t think you can do anything with Professions until you finish that & arrive in Orgrimmar. You’ll also be able to find trainers in Boralus when you arrive there. As Solaria said you can ask a guard for direction in either of those cities.
It might be best to wait until you get to Boralus. As a new player you’re going to be leveling up in Kul Tiras so you will want to start with Kul Tiran professions.
What professions ?Being in a guild it would help
I’d double gather and sell what you collect until you need something from professions. My two cents.
