How to Address Premades in Classic Battlegrounds

Not enough or you wouldn’t still see these threads.

Git gud at making friends fella. It will reward you in the long run.

Exactly the measures taken so far have not been enough, that’s why we need to keep the topic alive.

Mmmm…nope.

Blizzard made this mistake once already, they need not do it again.

People who are forced to interact and socialize end up making gasp friends. And through that friendship they end up playing more.

So the group play stays. And the meta to advancement in pvp should always be group play.

Solo players can go play counter-strike and call themselves heroes. Nobody needs em here.

Playing the game is a social activity.

Ya…you need to get a bit more involved then simply “logging on”

But people who solo queue still end up in a group they need to play with

You need to go a bit deeper than that fella. Don’t be scared homie.

Well no I don’t. BG’s have a solo queue option and it’s entirely reasonable to expect it to work well.

Matching premades vs pugs is no different than matching 60’s and 20’s something already prevented by the matching system.

It does work well fella. Last I checked whenever you que up to be put in a random group…it puts you in a random group!

It doesn’t work well as it matches pugs vs premades.

It makes absolutely zero promises with regards to your personal playing experience.

YMMV (your mileage may vary.)

Go make a friend or two! I promise it won’t hurt.

Well actually it does do certain things already to create a specific play experience, it already enforces team sizes and level ranges. Adding group size to that would hardly be a major step.

And also a step that’s inline with changes blizzard already has made to 1.12 in an attempt to curb premades.

Why are you so terrified of being matched against another premade?

That’s about as far as it needs to go.

Well no, and the topic will keep coming up until blizzard fixes the problem

By the minority. As clearly detailed within this thread.

This game wins the more players are forced to socialize. Blizzard has learned this as it’s one of the main fundamental differences between retail and classic that had evolved over the years.

The players should and will be forced to form a community with social status and structure. You WILL need to make friends, fella.

You do have to socialize when you solo queue, BG’s are not 1v1.

Naw. Much more than that. Your attitude and skill level should prevent you from getting into the good groups and excelling.

You should get your poop pushed in for being an anti social misfit.

Look…

Some people like the social aspects of the game which involve chat systems like text and voice.

Other players simply see combat as the social structure. The people who see only the superficial communication elements are missing out on the finer points of the game.

I would argue those players don’t fully understand it.

And I agree. As such there are plenty of games out there for them to enjoy. This isn’t one of em. And should never be.

The issue has nothing to do with getting into groups. It has to do with matching people who join as a group with people who don’t.
