That happened to my two weeks ago. I had to do both the Alleria questline and the full Radiant Echoes questline to get Khadgar to respawn in the Violet Citadel.
That might be it. I made sure to complete both of those on all my fresh 70’s.
I can definitely see leaving those unfinished causing phasing issues. I don’t think it’s actually a bug.
Doesn’t the radiant echoes questline start with the harbinger quest?
Not sure. My alts that came out of MoP Remix had the option to port to Silithus to jump start the Radiant Echoes chain, but the option to start the Harbinger questline didn’t automatically appear for them.
The character I was having issues with was a Warlock I’ve been playing through DF (but had never touched Legion) so they would have been in a position to receive the Harbinger quest chain in Valdrakken when it was first made available.
Yea I did the Silithilus questline. It didn’t make any difference.
Same issue for me. With TWW launch, it seems Dalaran is permanently phased for 70+ players, even if you complete all the intro quests for TWW. It’s super annoying. Once the intro quests are complete you should be returned to the Legion-phased version of Dalaran.
It means you can’t do any quest in Legion that involves Khadgar or Krasus’ landing, since that part is phased to the start of the Broken Shore patch which requires…Khadgar to be present to progress.
Definitely a major oversight and bug which hopefully is fixed soon!
I can’t believe we’re now several hotfix patches into TWW and this is still broken. Everyones order halls and legion MSQ perma bricked and not a peep out of blizz.
