How the heck do you get to the new zone

I’ve never felt so filtered in my life, the game gives a bunch of pop ups and shoot in the guide book when you log in but nothing seems to actually point to the new area, just forbidden reach and dragonlands stuff

You do the quest that you get. Go to where the Aspects are on that very tall building in Valdrakken, then follow the golden arrow on the mini map to the place that has the cave icon on the map/mini map. Do the quests and bam, you’re there.

which quest, I don’t have any that bring me to the aspects, and they don’t have any for me. do you need to do story stuff first or something? cuz my renown is too low for that

I’m guessing you need to have the questing part of the storyline done at least. I am not sure if it counts Forbidden Reach in that or not.

is it the “aiding the expedition” one? i dunno if its the weekly or not but it points to forbidden reach and is under the “embers of nefarion 0/7” banner

No, the quest is called, The Land Beneath. The Aiding The Expedition one is just the weekly.

Looking at another thread, it looks like you might need to complete the Forbidden Reach questline to start it.

the only story quest i have in forbidden reach is aiding the expedition so I guess I’ll do that first and see if it pops up, thanks

That quest won’t unlock it. You did the one quest chain in the Forbidden Reach, right?

If you have any campaign quests at all, do them. They are most likely blocking your access.

dang, I need higher renown for that stuff and there doesn’t seem to be a catch up mechanic for that yet, guess it’s farm time

Apparently you need to get the forbidden reach chain to 1/7 first

Just do the questline for forbidden reach. Its hella short and not renown related
