We defeat the jailer, Sylvanas loses her power infusion and stands there, in shock. Suddenly, behind her, emerging from the darkness… Bolvar, with a newly constructed helm. She turns…in disbelief, facing Bolvar. His hammer lights up and he says, in a homage to the Constantine movie, “Someone doesnt have your back anymore.”
Sylvannas screams.
Fade to black.

I maintain that Sylvanas should be torn limb from limb by the Forsaken. Her crimes against them are the most severe.

Nooo… missed opportunity.
Sylvannas getting banished into the maw as Bolvar says ‘‘This world is your prison’’.

I’d rather she’s a raid boss, but if an NPC does get the kill it should be genn or tyrande.

I agree but Blizzard has a duty to redeem the Lich Kings legend and persona after doing what they did.

They are in no way obligated to repair your nostalgia.

We’d be better off if they just forget she existed and never mention her again.

No! NO ‘fade ro black’!
I want a long satisfying endcini where we get to watch her descend into the eternal hell she has always feared, with the flames beginning to devour her and demons lining up for some fun!
…and always served.
Her last words: ‘’…Arthassssss…sizzle sizzle
Satisfaction.
Dibbs on her bow.

Obligated, no. But it’s not just MY nostalgia.
Tyrande, Malfurion, or Greymane will end her. I can dream it’s Arthas again, though, somehow.

They are not obligated to repair anyone’s nostalgia.
Nostalgia is a poison that damages the present to glorify the past. It is best left in the dumpster with the rest of the trash.

But Sylvanas, the true Sylvanas, is already gone. It wasn’t her that was brought back after she killed herself. It was Millhouse Manastorm who is working towards his own dark ends. The true Sylvanas was raised later by a lone devoted follower and moved to Bolivia to open a small coffee house, where she resides to this day.

And she would’ve gotten away with it, too, if it weren’t for those kids and mangy mutt.

My guess, assuming they don’t try to pull some redemption BS, is that she’ll end up the new Jailer (preferably as a punishment rather than willingly). She wanted control over death, so she gets it. For eternity.

Nah the poison and damage that was done was the ridiculous and unneeded destruction of an iconic character. For no other reason than just another unexplained and illogical demonstration of May Sue like power at the expense of an icon.
