I got my Paladin to level 6. I have two seals: Seal of Righteousness (SoR) and Seal of the Crusader (SotC). SotC is supposed to increase holy damage taken, and I have read that you should start with that so I basically I should do
SotC -> Judgment -> SoR (Sor does holy dmg and benefits from SotC)
that seems reasonable, but then for the next mob it’s the same thing
SotC -> Judgment -> SoR
Right now mobs die within 10 seconds, so it look like I would do 2 seals and judgment for each mob. Seems like that uses quite a bit of mana. Is there something I am missing here?
Any helpful comments appreciated.

Not really.
I think you’re just overthinking the whole thing.
As long as the mobs die its fine. Nothing in terms of rotation can be drawn upon until a mob outlast one set of normal cooldowns from Seals and stuff.
SotC Judge on anything that will live for 30 seconds or more, then SoR/SoC (when you get it)
Anything alive less than 30 seconds, just Judge SoR/SoC
But I agree with the above. Not really something to worry about until you get to the higher levels.

At low levels or against quick-dying mobs seal of the crusader is unlikely to be worth it, yeha.
Ok, thx for the comments. I just hated to be buying SotC and then not actually using for anything right now. I guess the game does that, gives you an ability at an early level that you won’t really use at that level.
I’m a level 13 Paladin, and I usually use SoR-judge-SoR. I don’t use SoC much.
I’ve never figured out which is better. I have both a 2-H axe (10 dps) and a 1-H axe and shield (7.6 dps but 311 more armor), and don’t notice much difference in killing time with the 2 seals.
I like SoR because it does 30-33 damage (Rank 2) with each judgement. The other one does no damage: each judgement increases target damage for 10 seconds of hits – only 2 or 3 hits with my slow weapon. Who knows?
For my Paly I’ve charge in casting SotC, then launch my Judgement once in range for it to hit. I’ll cast up SotR then start my melee damage immediately. SotC increases the holy damage, which helps with SotR up which allows for holy damage to be done easily. I’m only 15 but I see a more consistent increase in damage doing this, though it’s not a huge increase than just going straight into SotR off the start.
Create this macro
#showtooltip Seal of Righteousness
/startattack
/cast Judgement
/cast Seal of Righteousness
When you go to attack something buff SotC, and then use the macro to judge it and reseal with SoR
As others have said, you don’t need SotC for things that die quickly. The macro is still useful though, you can use it on any of your seals. Judgement is off the GCD so whenever you reseal you will automatically cast Judgement.
