How can you ask us to “celebrate” this anniversary when it is this terrible?
Quest “The Originals”:
World bosses one-shot most fresh 50’s… you know… the ones that will want to do the event to get a piece of loot. Azuregos’ Frost Breath hits for 11K as an example.
Then… after you organize a raid to kill it, and everyone does their best…
Loot isn’t trade-able. Wow…
Who exactly are we protecting here by not enabling trade? What are we breaking here?
Im not even going to start with Korrak being nerfed and bugged and so on. That’s a another issue.
Or the fact that we got… a non-descript cloak branded as “new item”.
What exactly are we suppose to celebrate here? How can I even convince anyone to log on for this?

they must have their spreadsheets tuned only to be a cakewalk for those with item level 100+

I am missing a few because there was a period I got pretty mad at Blizzard. But I still like to keep up to date with them as I can.
i convinced some people by sending them pictures of the all flagged horde in caverns of time, ripe for the gankin’.

You actually never done the fight properly right? You just been carried at max?
By doing it properly you mean run in, tag it once… run out of the pack of people so that after the aggro wipe teleport the dragon does actually keeps a target that isn’t squishy and keep repeating this with the other tank until the boss is dead?

Nope. I’ve yet to do any of The Originals bosses on any of my capped toons, which are all 100+, without dying. And I made a point of not having Corrupted gear when it was working if possible because I don’t raid, and the annoying parts outweighed the good. But the scaling is way off, even for legacy content.

Most of these people never did the real fights and just halfarse it. It’s why everyone dies all the time.

I have no problem with 1 shot mechanics being put in on Normal difficult level raid bosses… either the players will learn… or the herd will be thinned.

I saw Fairlight getting kicked from raid due to stepping on tail.
Back in the day, when some unsuspecting lowbie would curiously nose around the grove in Duskwood and we’d hear one of the world dragons yell and that newbie would die, one of my friends used to say the following in gen chat:
“Every time someone pokes a world dragon, God turns a dead kitten into a zombie kitten.”
