People pay for a game to feel rewarded. You better be ready for a major drop in subs Blizzard, I think most people are at the point where enough is enough, I do not feel like paying for a game that is full of dissapointment 99% of the time now.But hey keep up the good business models, this one is a real gem that will cost you millions.
What, do you think loot is just generated out of thin air? Each time a piece of loot is generated, thatās money out of Blizzards pocket.
Pfft, come on man, think!
last week I was on a 14 raid boss no loot streak it really is out of hand it makes gearing an alt a literal full time job.
With all this āconstructive criticismā they might as well just bring back TF/WF and up the drop rate again.
At least that way players feel like they are getting lootā¦even though most of it will be trash
the main reason I donāt run heroics is because nothing ever seems to drop for me. It is very frustrating.
I am envious of people who have time to gear / play alts I would like to expand my horizons and get a few other characters up, but once they hit the maw intro I start getting slammed with some sort of PTSD memory flashing of whatās to come and log back onto my main (who after all this time is still currently only around 210 ilvl)
Side note, has anyone actually seen a weapon drop above Heroic dungeon difficulty ? I was rocking a 171 weapon from 1st or 2nd week, and only reason It jumped to 187 was because of covenant completion, all the rest of my gear is 205-215, have yet to see a weapon, outside of one being āgivenā to me.
When they keep making the game more difficult, they should really shower players with gear to meet the challenge. If they want this game to be more esport like, then gear should not be a barrier to anything.
And having a game that just constantly hands you loot would be extremely unrewarding. The pendulum swings both ways.
My time on the forum has shown me that people would be more than happy to wear horrible gearā¦as long as it was purple and had the right ilvl
Wow. Token.
I went weeks without weapon drops I was forced to do arena for a conquest weapon on my main. Finally got one in the vault but Iām still rocking a conquest weapon on toon I donāt pvp on. Yea Iām in the same boat alt wise Iāve got a 208 main and Iāve tried to gear alts but its literally insane especially with torghast for leggos 187 is the highest Iāve got so far.
Simple: you get less loot it means you have to stay online longer farming for more.
Wow changes are not meant to be rewarding or fun or anything, everything Blizzard has done to wow lately (by lately I mean like the 2 or 3 last expansions) is purely to increase metrics by forcing us to stay subbed and logged in for longer periods of time.
You just have to do all the content. If you pvp to 1800 itās easy to get 215+ in a couple weeks if you max out your conquest. My alt is 218 and I made it a little over 2 weeks ago.
'Cause it keeps you coming back for more abuse. Donāt continue to be a victim. You can leave this abusive relationship. There are people out there who can help you.
i have to agree w/ this xpansion, it has been the worst drop rates in history of man, wish they would fix this issue
That requires skill and motivationā¦itās debatable how much of that is floating around in the forums
Gets far worse in mythic+ & raids.
Sorry but not everyone wants to get full BiS in the first 24 hours of a new expansion, some of us actually want our gear to mean something.
If you like free loot, thereās plenty of games out there.
But WoW currently is in the best state itās ever been in, and has broken record sales.
Because it means that in theory, youāll stay subbed longer to try to get more gear.
I really think Blizzard needs to take a step back and look at the way upgrades are handled. My most satisfying upgrade ever was when I crafted my Lionheart Executioner, took me most of TBC to do it; honourable mentions would include my Truesilver Champion and phantom blade, plus Veriganās Fist, of course.
For raiding, getting that Frozen Bonespike in ICC for my mage was nice; but even though it took several wipes to down that boss, it was done in an evening, and really doesnāt compare to something crafted yourself.
