I kinda miss needing ammo.
i remember when you could raise your unarmed skill and we didnt have achievements
i made my first toon on a friend’s account in 2006. I got my own in 2007 and have played on and off since then. I am in a very small guild now with people I played with back in 2007. at this point, we are serious casual altaholics.
i got that on my lock just because…lol…
Feb 2005.
I’m almost five decades YOUNG!
Thank you very much
- My dwarf hunter just hit 60 two weeks before the launch of TBC.
Started in late 2005
Man, I know how you feel. I’m currently playing on the Steam version of the game, which added a lot of quality of life features and significantly reduced the grind. It’s the only way I can possibly play and have a life now, lol.
- Right before Burning Crusade. Didn’t hit 60 until after the expansion released.
I played a druid. Before PoP. I would get phone calls at 3 am to get up and raid because a dragon spawned and we had to beat rival guild to gathering people to take it out.
Was just thinking of this, weapon skills. I don’t miss that at all.
It was some point in late vanilla but I was just cluelessly messing around with my own character on a friend’s account.
Got my account (this one) during Burning Crusade so I consider myself more of a BC baby.
I started WOW back in 2008, tried a male night elf hunter. Remember when i didnt know what i was doing. I made it to terrokar forest when wrath pre patch was releasing a week later.
Rerolled a blood elf paladin named trajedy to play with my brothers then rerolled again to a female night elf resto druid on stormrage. My raid guild saw how terrible of a healer i was during ulduar then forced me to go feral kitty that i ended up maining for 4 years when mists came out before finally giving my feral druid up because blizzard wanted to make feral easier and more accessible. i have sense become an altaholic but think that im finally maining this warlock for war within.
I’m so Old School I see in black and white for the first 30 minutes I am awake.
Started in late BC, didn’t make it to max level until Wrath and my first raid experience was in Ulduar.
remember when get that awesome weapon upgrade drop only to realize that you had to go start smacking level 1 boars to use it…eventually…
I’m not sure what year I started, but it was Vanilla.
Early BC.
Hand of A’dal and original Arcanite Ripper.
Late nights running Kara, SSC, BT and even Gruuls Lair. Grinding the Kara key and enough gold to get a flying mount to get to Tempest Keep.
Oh and taking the big portal to the Outlands the first time and being told I was not prepared. Loved that scene. Still do.
Good times.
I quit before vanilla.
( I wasn’t playing from the beginning because I didn’t want to wait another six months for the original beta to begin so decided to go play Ultima Online instead, got hooked on fishing and building houses and stayed there for four years )
towards the end of mists of pandaria.
game was good, but felt like it did’nt want you to level-up… mind you, i was a newb, and did’nt do dungeons cause i was a newb, but still! …i got stuck in northrend cause leveling took so dang long just questing.
