I think the OP question boils down to: how long have we had (insert character here)?

In my case, this was my first character from November 2004 (night elf back then).

15 years; vanilla was 25 years after the Dark Portal and DF is 40.

Ah well, my bad then.

I’m not really sure, maybe like 20 years? I know Anduin was a kid when Vanilla started.

EDIT: From the links, it would appear it’s 15.

Unless stated otherwise, it’s mostly safe to assume each expansion is like 3-4 years, then a gap of a year between expansions.

Rita is 105, her 16 kids are between 59-85. Wild is one of the younger ones, he’s only 70.

I guess our characters were like in their early 20’s when they started training in the starting zones and now they’re like in their mid 40’s.

Damn, I hope when final expansion hits we get to retire on our farm in Valley of the Four Winds.

Yup. We went from killing boars in Elywnn Forest/Valley of Trials to killing literal gods.

Well it depends. How long is an Azeroth year? How long in Earth years does it take Azeroth to go around it’s star. Then of course there is the question, how fast are we moving through space when someone asks?
