How often do you report or ignore someone?

They should also have to pay to have their game tested, but that will never happen either…they want to generate the least amount of work and jobs that they can.

Censorship and free speech are the same subject.
Getting censored because they made things more stringent due to “bypassing” by others.
Whatever - have nice day.

Clearly not, since I used the word (censored), literally, and I am clearly not talking about free speech; which if it wasn’t clear, I also clarified I’m talking about posted forum rules.

You also have a nice day.

I think I’ve done it a few times since I can remember. First it’s the scammers, the ones with names like Blizz or Blizzrd contacting you and pretending to be devs. I report those. Then there was this clipper guy in WSG back in DF, he did some lag glitch that made him get the flag and basically be immune to melee attacks and moved at super speed. Otherwise, I don’t remember reporting anyone else.

Daily. I patrol trade chat looking for right wing hate speech to report.

I’ve never put anyone on my ignore list as for reports I’ll report the AFK in my BG Blitz but thats about it.

Not counting PvP AFKers, maybe 10 times in the past 20 years.

It has to be indecent, racist, and an obvious bot (and real bots are pretty rare and hard to spot).

I have had trade chat off since 2008. So I havnt reported anyone for trade chat
rule breaking for over ten years. The only thing I report someone for is if I see
a offensive name that somone intentionally chose. But even that hasnt happened
in years.

As for ignoring someone. I havnt had any reason to do that in years as well.
I honestly do not know if anyone is even on my ignore list.

Swearing, slurs, sexual content. Obvious stuff really.

Slurs and sexual content I understand. Swearing though? There’s literally a filter for that.

Filter isn’t there to allow people to break the ToS.

Regularly. The second you whisper me advertising your guild in my whispers like a car salesman I’m blocking you instantly.

It’s not against TOS to use profanity, at least last time I checked. Using symbols and whatever to get around the filter, I can understand.

I don’t mind some edgyness, but if someone is blatantly over the line I will report them.

For instance, this week I reported someone spamming rude words in the Newcomer chat. (Trials have access to this chat).

Then you should check again. As it always has been.

I report my whole group if we don’t time the key.

Obviously joking.

I almost never report anyone. As a Canadian a value free speech even if I do not have it in Canada. I understand Blizzard doesn’t have free speech and forums and games are moderated but I personally don’t really care much. My feeling are not hurt by someone giving me sh*t in a video game.

It’s not a free pass to do so. Never has been.

Considering that Blizzard doesn’t take any action against people spamming the service channel with advertisements leading to external websites for real-money transactions, I report them about five times a day until the system blocks my option to keep reporting.

Check again, it is against the ToS to use profanity, masked or otherwise.

The filter is not permission to use language that breaks the ToS. Nor is ignorance of those rules. Feigned or otherwise.

I just looked through the TOS 3x and haven’t found anything regarding profanity unless you are referring to the forum code of conduct which cannot be applied to WoW unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Not trying to argue, but if you can cite it for me, I would definitely appreciate it.
