How does torghast work? Is torghast a once a week thing? Or you can run it everyday? It seems like a must do for to be able to craft legendaries?
You could run it every day, but you won’t get rewards unless you haven’t gotten all of your soul ash. You could run all of your Torghast content in a single day of the week.
Also, you don’t haev to do Torghast for soul ash, but the other way (mission table) would take like 10 times as long.
you can only get soul ash once per layer per wing per week 
if you do your highest layer you get the rewards for all the lower layers

You’ll have to run it a few times each week until you unlock layer 8. After that you only need to run it twice a week at layer 8 to get all of the soul ash rewards. Find a group of 2-3 people, and burn through it in no time.

Generally you want to clear the available wings once a week.
The highest layer you can do…so for me probably 4-5…havent gone in since I got some upgrades so I might be up to 6.
But in any case. Much like the Maw we really arent super incentivized to chain run torghast. Do your thing and get out.
If you want a legendary you have to run it. I really don’t mind it just do a couple runs every couple days. I bought the stuff becuase I got a memory and thought it was 100 ash to craft, hahaha got to get busy getting some more.
What I don’t know is this and maybe someone can answer. I bought a 190 base item, should I have bought a higher item level or is there some kind of throttle so you have to upgrade the item? I was going to get the high item level but figured it wouldn’t work out.
Just need to run it 2 days within the week once you reach layer 8? At what layer can you solo it till?
I pushed it mainly to unlock the highest layer (done) and get my first leggo (225 ring). Now I plan to not do it for several weeks until my ilevel is more reasonable. Layer 8 at ilevel 178 sucks bad.
finishing layer 8 will take gear…
and grouping doesn’t neccessarily make it any easier… a 5 man group came across Goxul with 683million hp… (there is proof - see icy)

well you have to unlock all the layers to get all the ash… running them more often gets you nothing, no upgrades either.
So you won’t get any further in the content without doing other stuff.
running layer 7 over and over won’t help you get to layer 8
