How Often Do New Invitation Waves Get Sent?

Have the same people only received the invite to beta or have more people recently been invited to participate?Just curious as to how it all unfolds.

There haven’t been significant ā€˜new waves’ in a while. There were some Friends and Family invites recently, but that’s about it, according to what’s been posted here.

If you aren’t a major streamer, a friend of a major streamer, or a friend of a developer it appears extremely unlikely to get in. I went ahead and canned my resub. Oh well.

No amount of whining, begging, cajoling, grief, anger, or in my case befuddlement will change this.

I was hyped for beta the first week, but I’m already over it and unsubbed. Waiting until August really isn’t that long.

Ya only thing that bothers me is the cash grab for active subs knowing an extremely small percentage were getting in. I’d thought as an OG Vanilla player with a long history and who had participated in betas before I had a good chance. Feels like a loot box promo sale in retrospect but that is what gaming has become. /shrug

It is plausible that there could be no more wave invites. It is also plausible that it could happen in July for all we know. Regardless, I myself chose to do a three month sub so that I would not back out. The way I see it, either I get an invite to beta or its just me ā€œpreorderingā€ Classic which I know I will have fun with anyways.

Did any women get invited to Beta? I remember they were bad in Vanilla. Except maybe like one or two world wide. But still I think that they’d be invited.

Or is someone at Blizzard who handles invites not into women? And just invited dudes?

And this is not a troll post. It just reads like one. And I made it.

Just to give a different perspective, grinding to 40 takes a lot of effort.
I’m already to the point of significantly slowing down on the amount of time spent on beta as I’ve realized just how much of this I will be doing over again in august.
Not that it isn’t fun but its an immersive and consuming game, I genuinely go to bed physically tired after a night of questing, gathering pre dungeon quests, running the dungeons, doing some professions. Its a lot and august is gonna be awesome.

Obviously approaching it as if you were doing it live will slowly lead to burnout. If I had beta myself, not only would I assure to report any bugs (which I even did in the stress test where a specific area spawned mobs all at once in 15 minute intervals). But I would also take the opportunity to gather information to refine my leveling plan.

Unless you got lucky during the initial wave it’s pretty bleak at the moment. All the latest waves have pretty much been F&F list spots.

Soon TM. I’m pretty sure.

Once every 13.4 hours

Same for me…If there is an off chance you can even get into the 2 other stress test is a chance I’m willing to take, but till then I have 4 110’s that need lvling.

I unsubbed after the first stress test when it became clear they were mostly done sending out invites. I’m sure they will try and tease the fact that they are sending out more right at the time most peoples active game time runs out.

Oh boo hoo -w-. many others didn’t get it don’t feel privaleged just because you played the original. everyone has a chance and the only reason streamers (which is a TINY percentage of beta players) got invite was to spread awareness to more people. the exposure which will promote the game pre release. it’s a smart business play. No one is entitled to the beta, if you get in you get in if you dont, you dont. If they gave out as many invites as much as people asked they might as well release it now -w-

No one asked you for your toxic crap. I stated an opinion and it wasn’t even controversial.
