How often can you do sniffenseeking?

I have maps to do sniffenseeking and I can do more this week on the map but when I talk to Myrrit he says he still is looking for new places to dig. How long does that take? And is it an account wide wait?

You need to right click on the map in your inventory while standing close to Myrrit to “give him the map”. I was confused by this also.

Can I stockpile the maps or do I need to use them in the week I get them? Haven’t found info on this.

Myrrit can hold 5 maps at one time.

He gets a free map every week after reset. You can purchase more maps from Ponzo and you get a free map in the weekly quest in Loamm.
