I don’t like those tbh.
Gloves, back, pants, belts, boots any option would have been better than what we got. They aren’t all perfect or anything but every single one is better than what we ended up with.
Seems to be legit fire if you ask me(I’m wearing it in my profile photo right now). So whoever designed it did just fine. The space goat heritage armor though is hideous. Feel bad for the space goat and space squids who are expected to rock that ridiculous getup.

And there it is, the likely reason why the set is awful and the quest chain was lackluster. Thanks for sharing that. Seems like they’re having their bones picked clean right left and center for questionable business practices.
I wonder if Microsoft knew they were gonna get slapped that hard when they bought it.
I really wonder if there are any troll fans among writing staff, because it really feels like they don’t reall like trolls, and write for them when they really have to

I don’t wanna ruin it for you, if you like it then I’m happy for you but whatever you do don’t look at it closely from the side. The direction they were trying to go in was an awesome one but that’s what a rush job looks like. The potential there was immeasurable. If no skulls is fine by you more power to you.

They’d need to not only be fans but have the guts to speak up about some one else mistake. Guts are in short supply these days and I doubt they’re being paid enough to correct their co workers, especially if they’re from another department.

Yeah the Worgen set was a thematic flop but they didn’t have nearly as much established art and culture to go off as the Darkspear the fact that that Troll set is an absolute betrayal of the tribes iconic cultural style and has mechanical issues is nothing short of sad.

The answer is because they can, and because they’re too big to fail. They’re too big to care about unsubs because they can just fire people to make up the shortfall rather than fix issues, so that’s what they do.
The microtransaction model is actually a good antidote to this because every time you pay, they have to give you something that’s worth it.
And if you pay for something and it’s bugged you can charge it back.
With the subscription model, we have nothing to stand in the way of them offering a worse and worse product, and people actually cheerlead them as they do it. If there are bugs, it’s “YoU paY fOr ONlY ACCeSS tO SerVERs HAHAHAHA.” and if the servers are down it’s, “Haha go quit then.”

Sad but true my friend. Unless players band together in mass there’s really no way to provoke changes, if 20-30 of us unsub they don’t care and or don’t even know why.
